Though there are plenty of add-on gizmos and gadgets that connect an assortment of lenses onto your smartphone, the new Sony Cyber-shot QX100 and QX10 camera lens introduced today, syncs wirelessly with your phone via WiFi or NFC, raises the bar to producing high-quality images. The lens cameras are controlled by the Android or iOS (iPhone) PlayMemories Mobile app to control the shutter, focus and allow viewing the image through your smartphone.
It’s really a circular-shaped camera without the viewing screen and shutter controls, which can be attached to the phone to give you a more conventional feel or can be hand-held away from the phone for a variety of angles.
