Maraming salamat po!

I was hoping to meet you again after all these years. I was going to be a part of the so called komiks project sa Paete. But sadly, our Ka Noel asked the wrong questions. I would have done the project for free, just the materials. Pero puro budget lang ang concern nila. I even asked the help of Wali Ching for the writing stuff. Again, nakakalungkot na sa Paete wala na akong naririnig na-

“Gaano kaganda ang magiging resulta?”

sa halip ay –

“Magkano ang magagastos dya-an?”

Our leaders there forgot about aesthetics and beauty and art and traded their souls for pure political gains.

Glad you visit musickomiks.blogspot.com. Hope our kababayan will follow suit to help us revive the once mighty komiks industry. I’m proud of all the youth that attended the workshop, they have certain focus which is essential to be an aspiring artist. How I wish I could teach them the basic and fundamentals on komiks illustrations and I’m looking forward I can do it in the near future. I want somebody up there to be the next Nestor Redondo. See you soon and keep in touch.

I was confined in the hospital with typhoid when I heard the news. I will miss our Bayek as well. I will cherish the time he spent with me forever specially when I was still in college, thank you Bayek!
